CRETE – From Chania | SAMARIA GORGE TOUR

The great walking adventure on Crete; join in for the famous Samaria gorge!

Samaria Gorge has proclaimed a National Park in 1962 and it hides a wealth of natural beauty. We offer an early pick up in the morning as to be one of the first groups to arrive. You will start at an altitude of 1200 m. and descend until sea level. This 17 km long walk through the beautiful landscape is tough but unforgettable and covers an average walking time of 5 to 6 hours.

At the end of the walk in the village of Agia Roumeli on the south coast, you have the opportunity for a refreshing swim in the Libyan Sea or to enjoy a meal at one of the local taverns. The group will meet again to continue by boat from Agia Roumeli to Chora Sfakion, from where our bus will return you to your hotel.
